Fruit Tree for Kaka'i Refugee Family Farm
Several villages near Kirkuk, Iraq were home to the Kaka'i people - a minority group inside Iraq with religious beliefs that made them a big target for ISIS. Thousands lost their homes during the war, but today we're helping 200 of these families move back to their farming villages and start life over.
These families lived off their farms, and after two years away most are returning to find their gardens in ruins and their fruit trees dead. Your gift will be used to purchase and deliver young fruit and olive tree plants to the neediest of these families so they can replant their orchards.
Your donation is tax-deductible.
